Blotter: Police respond to threat call

Denton police said a juvenile recently threatened a bank in the 1700 block of North Carroll Boulevard.

According to reports, the teen filed a dispute Tuesday morning concerning a withdrawal of funds from an ATM belonging to another bank in Dallas.

The suspect’s disputed claim was denied, police said, and he called into the call center of a bank in town to question it. While speaking to the employee, he asked whether he needed to bring a gun up to the bank to get his money back.

No charges have been filed, according to police records.

2300 block of Bernard Street — Denton police filed a report with Adult Protective Services recently.

According to reports, a 33-year-old disabled man was allegedly a victim of assault. Reports show that the man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Adult Protective Services was made aware of the injuries and completed an intake report for investigation.

2200 block of Lariat Trail — A daughter has been using the identifying information of one of her parents to pay for several hotel/motel visits recently, Denton County Sheriff Office officials said.

According to reports, the daughter did not have permission to make any charges. The total amount charged was not listed.
