Blotter: Police search for clues, suspect in school break-in

Denton police are searching for clues and a suspect in a Saturday evening elementary school break-in.

Officers were dispatched to an unsecured building call at Borman Elementary School, 1201 Parvin St. Upon arrival, officers located a double glass door that had been destroyed and the door propped open, a police report said.

Officers searched the building but did not locate anyone inside, and at the time of the report, it appeared nothing had been taken.

Other reports

800 block of Cordell Street — A man reported to Denton police that someone stole his pet beagle from his backyard.

200 block of Inman Street — A woman reported to police that someone entered her locked bedroom and took some items.

She also reported that her roommate’s laptop had also been taken from another unlocked bedroom.
