Roadway construction along northbound Interstate 35E in Corinth on Tuesday night was a factor in a major accident that left one person hospitalized, police said.
Corinth police Lt. Carrie West said the three-vehicle accident occurred near Exit 459 at about 11 p.m.
“Cars had slowed and/or stopped for the construction ahead, and the one driver did not stop,” West said. “That driver hit one car and pushed it into another vehicle.”
One person with unknown injuries was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas via air ambulance, she said.
Police cleared the accident scene at about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
2200 block of South Interstate 35E — Denton police responded to criminal mischief call at a shopping mall Tuesday evening after a 21-year-old reported that her car had been keyed. According to a police report, the woman said the person who keyed her vehicle had recently been fired. No arrests were made, reports show.
2300 block of Eaton Place — A homebuilder told Denton police Tuesday afternoon that several appliances were removed from a residence that is under construction. Witnesses were questioned but no suspect was identified, reports show.

Denton firefighters responded to 29 medical calls, one vehicle fire and one vehicle accident and assisted two agencies.
