8 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Donate Denton County donation drive to provide relief for unaccompanied children who have crossed the Texas border, at the south end of the parking lot at Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Drive. Items needed include dish soap, washcloths, all-purpose cleaner, notebook paper, English/Spanish flash cards, small toys and other items, listed online at http://donatedentoncounty.com .

9 a.m. — Information coffee for seniors 55 and older at the RSVP office, 1316 E. McKinney St. Volunteers are needed to help with a health education project through Retired and Senior Volunteer Program: Serving Denton County.
