Carine Feyten, chancellor and president of Texas Woman’s University, has ice water dumped on her Thursday by students as she accepts the ALS Association’s ice bucket challenge. The challenge is a way to raise awareness and money for research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Feyten accepted her challenge from David Hodge, president of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Feyten has forwarded the challenge to Neal Smatresk, president of the University of North Texas, and Renu Khator, president of the University of Houston.
