No arrests were made Sunday after a 23-year-old man told police his fiancee's stepfather hit him in the face.
According to a police report, the man's fiancee called him saying her stepfather was being disrespectful to her. The victim then left work and confronted the stepfather at his home in the 2600 block of Mayhill Road, the report said.
The two were arguing when the stepfather allegedly hit the victim in the right eye at about 11:40 a.m., the report said. The victim did not want to press charges.
6500 block of Shiloh Lane — A man and a woman in their 60s told police Sunday that someone stole personal items and money from a safe inside their Southeast Denton home.
The police report did not indicate how much money was stolen. The victims, listed in the report as a 68-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, identified a possible suspect, the report said. No arrests have been made.
1500 block of Meadow Street — A 25-year-old man reported that an acquaintance walked into his bedroom, displayed a handgun and demanded cash early Sunday morning.
The police report did not indicate if the victim suffered any injuries. It also didn't mention if the suspect stole any money. No arrests were made.

Denton firefighters responded to 42 medical calls, six vehicle accidents, five calls for public service and one cooking fire.
