Traffic snarled this morning on Interstate 35E between Corinth and Denton after two separate accidents occurred near the exit for Post Oak Drive.

Roger Griggs, of the Denton County Sheriff's Office, said dispatchers received calls for two separate accidents, one in the northbound lane and another in the southbound lane.

"Some people were transported to area hospitals, but there were no fatalities," Griggs said.

Jason Foutch, of the Corinth Police Department, said the northbound lane was closed for about 30 minutes at 8:30 a.m. to clear the accident.

"I could see the traffic just stopped on my way in," Foutch said.

By 10 a.m., dispatchers reported traffic had cleared.
