Blotter: Vehicles broken into at Denton dog park

Three vehicles were broken into at a dog park in the 1400 block of East Ryan Road on Sunday afternoon, according to a Denton police report. 

The owners of the vehicles reported that several items were taken during the break-ins.


Other reports

900 block of Avenue A — A woman reported to Denton police that someone entered her apartment by breaking a bedroom window Sunday.

The woman told police officers that the break-in happened between 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, but nothing appeared to be missing from her residence.

2700 block of West University Drive — A customer’s cellphone was taken while she was shopping Sunday night, according to a Denton police report.

The theft was caught on video, and police officers located the suspect, who told police he took the phone, the report stated.

The phone was returned to its owner, and the suspect was arrested and charged with theft, according to the report.



From 7 a.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday:

* Twenty-eight people were booked into the Denton County Jail.

* Denton police posted six reports online, including two burglaries, one theft, one credit or debit card report, one assault and one criminal mischief.
