Denton police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a business located in the 2000 block of West Prairie Street on Friday night.
Police said two unknown suspects came into the store shortly before 8 p.m. and took a large sum of money before leaving the scene. At least one was armed with some sort of nickel or stainless steel revolver, employees reported to police.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects, police said, have not been caught.
2600 block of Oak Street — A 26-year-old male reported someone was trying to break into his apartment Friday night. Police said the man also reported he was a victim of a home invasion robbery at the same location Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the 26-year-old’s front door. No entry, police said, was made into the apartment.
3400 block of Joyce Lane — Police received a report that wiring and tools were removed from a pickup between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Monday. No additional damage to the vehicle was reported.
