Blotter: Couple caught having sex in vehicle, issued citation

Two people were issued citations after being caught having sex in a parked car Friday morning on Teasley Lane, according to a Denton police report.

A neighbor called police to report it appeared two people were having sex in a red vehicle parked across the street from their home in the 3900 block of Teasley Lane, the report said.

When police arrived on the scene, they confirmed the caller’s suspicion and cited the two people for disorderly conduct, the report said.

4200 block of Interstate 35 — A 27-year-old woman was arrested on a marijuana possession charge Friday morning in the Days Inn parking lot off Interstate 35, according to a police report.

When a police officer asked to see the contents of the woman’s purse, she pulled out a “burnt marijuana cigarette,” according to the officer's report, and pushed it into an air vent on the car's dashboard so the officer could not confiscate it.

The officer found a small amount of marijuana in the woman’s purse, and she was arrested, according to the report.

2600 block of West University Drive — Two puppies were stolen out of a 19-year-old woman’s vehicle Friday night while it was parked on University Drive, according to a police report.

Police arrived on the scene about 9:55 p.m. No arrests were made.

800 block of South Welch Street — A 21-year-old man was arrested after breaking down the door of his girlfriend’s house Friday about 1 a.m., according to a police report.

The man was intoxicated and refused to leave, despite multiple requests from his girlfriend and her roommate, the report said.

The man was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief.
