Police arrested Logan Hall, 18, of Corinth on aggravated robbery charges following a car chase Friday morning, according to a Denton police report.
Police allege Hall robbed a 27-year-old man and the cash register of a Chevron gas station store in the 2400 block of South Interstate 35E shortly before 6:30 a.m. Friday, the report said. Officers were dispatched to the scene after a caller reported an armed robbery.
The suspect fled on foot before getting into a vehicle and fleeing the scene southbound on I-35E. After officers arrived, a car chase after the suspect ensued, during which police lost sight of the suspect's vehicle, halting the pursuit. Corinth police later reportedly searched surrounding areas and regained sight of the vehicle and resumed the pursuit.
Hall reportedly wrecked his vehicle in the chase and later was arrested. He was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of evading arrest.
The 18-year-old was being held at Denton County Jail in lieu of $110,000 bail. He has a prior criminal history of one vehicle burglary charge from July.
3000 block of North Elm Street — A man of unknown age robbed a Dollar General store at gunpoint after closing time Friday, according to a Denton police report.
The man, who concealed his face with clothing and wore socks on his hands, waited nearby for employees to close the store after 10 p.m. Friday. Once the employees were outside, the gunman reportedly forced them back inside the store while wielding a black handgun and had them open the store's safe. After robbing the safe of its contents, he fled on foot.
Police officers were unable to locate the suspect upon arrival, but collected surveillance video and filed a report.
2100 block of Spencer Road — A 22-year-old man was punched in the face and threatened with a gun in front of his home, according to a police report.
The victim told police that a man wearing light blue jeans and a black shirt had assaulted him. At the scene, officers contacted the suspect, another 22-year-old man, and booked him into the Denton City Jail on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.

Denton police filed 10 reports online, including one burglary in which a man was robbed of three televisions, a PlayStation 4 gaming console and games, jewelry and a gold grill for his teeth. The man told police he believes a woman he had been dating and who had stayed at his house for four days committed the burglary while he was at work.
Denton police answered 173 calls for service and made 10 arrests.
