Blotter: Gunman shoots one outside local sports bar

A single gunman shot one victim at 1:16 a.m. Saturday outside Vitty's Sports Bar, police say. 

Rojshawn Fletcher, 22, was arrested early Saturday morning in connection with the shooting and was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police said the gunman fired shots over the top of a car and moved, shooting more shots again from the front of the car. 

A witness gave police a description of  Fletcher's vehicle, reportedly a Ford Crown Victoria, and an officer later pulled Fletcher over, Denton police Officer Bryan Cose said. 

The victim, a 35-year-old Denton-area man, went to Medical City Denton with wounds to his upper arm and finger, Cose said. 

Fletcher is being held at the Denton City Jail on a $25,000 bond.

200 block of Fry Street — A fight between two women led to an arrest Friday night, according to a police report. 

Police arrested Diandria McConnell, 32, after police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a Fry Street apartment complex. 

The only victim named in the report was a 26-year-old Denton woman. 

1200 block West University Drive — Denton police issued a drug paraphernalia citation to a hatchet-wielding person Friday night, according to a police report. 

Police originally responded to a report of a person with a gun, but arrived to find the suspect instead with a hatchet on his waistband. 

No arrests were reported. 

1300 block of Dallas Driver — A woman reportedly was conned into trading $5,500 worth of iTunes gift cards to someone in exchange for fixing her iPad device, according to a police report. 

No arrests were reported in the fraud case.
