Blotter: Nude video leaked, victim didn't know she was recorded

Police responded to a harassment complaint Saturday after a woman discovered a nude video of herself on Instagram. 

The video, posted by an old friend of hers, showed her exposed breasts, according to a police report. It was taken down after an hour, and the video had 14 views. 

The victim told police she was unaware she was being recorded at the time, and said she wanted to press charges.

500 block of North Bell Avenue — A complainant called police about suspicious activity Saturday night at Johnny Joe's convenience store. The caller said two males and a female were casing a coin-operated slot machine and could rob the place, according to a police report. 

After police investigated, one of the males was apprehended after fleeing on foot. The other suspects, who were identified by a previous incident, left in a car with a stolen $1,000, according to police.

One suspect was charged with evading arrest with a prior conviction.

300 block of North Loop 288 — About 11 a.m. Saturday, Denton police responded to a theft of a vehicle call. The caller had informed police that her ex-boyfriend had stolen her vehicle.

She called back to cancel the report, then called 45 minutes later to report that he had assaulted her.

Between 6 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, Denton police made 18 arrests and filed six felony charges and 25 misdemeanor charges.
