Blotter: Ex-boyfriend breaks into woman's apartment, makes threats

A woman went to police at about 1 a.m. Saturday to report a burglary at her apartment in the 900 block of Cleveland Street. 

She told police that a man she previously dated had let himself into her apartment without permission, assaulted her, threatened to kill her and wouldn't let her leave. 

A burglary report was made and the investigation is ongoing, according to a police report. No arrests were made.

Intersection of Lido Way and Bell Avenue — A resident who was hanging Christmas lights on a home noticed two males get out of a vehicle and hide items in a nearby bush. 

When officers arrived, they found methamphetamine and a meth pipe hidden in the bush, according to a police report. No arrests were made. 

2000 block of West University Drive — Three patients at University Behavioral Health of Denton assaulted one patient at about 5 p.m. Saturday, according to a police report. The victim was transported to a hospital with possible injuries. 


Between 6 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, Denton police responded to 131 calls for service, made seven arrests, and filed three felony charges and nine misdemeanor charges.
