A man was arrested at about midnight Sunday after he was seen huffing fumes from a compressed air can.

A number of witnesses in the 1400 block of Teasley Lane saw the man inhaling the fumes. He refused to go to the hospital even after being begged by his children to do so.

Officers arrested the man on a charge of possessing, using, ingesting or inhaling volatile chemicals, according to a police report.
