8:30 p.m. -- "Wonders of the Night" at the Isle du Bois Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park, on FM455, 10 miles east of I-35. Join a ranger for a night hike. Meet at the Lost Pines Amphitheater. CLUB MEETINGS

American Legion Post 550 offers free karaoke at 9 p.m. each Friday at the post, 905 Foundation St. in Pilot Point. Call 940-686-9901.

The Triangle Squares square dancing group meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of each month at Denton Senior Center, 509 N. Bell Ave., with a 7 p.m. workshop for new dancers, 7:30 p.m. dinner and 8 p.m. grand march. Non-members pay $6 per person, members get in free.
