10 a.m. to noon -- "Stop the Bleed: Bleeding Control Techniques for the Injured" at South Branch Library, 3228 Teasley Lane. Learn simple bleeding-control techniques that can effectively slow blood loss and save lives in an emergency. Taught by nurse Adam Walthall with Medical City Denton. No previous training required.
