Jan. 25-28 -- Denton Black Film Festival featuring narratives, documentaries and shorts, at the Campus Theatre, 214 W. Hickory St., and several other venues downtown. Opening night film is Steps, directed by Jay Rodriguez and Rock Davis. Festival also includes music, slam poetry and visual arts. VIP all-access passes and special event tickets are now on sale.
