10 a.m. -- Junior Rangers: Wildlife Detectives, an easy hike along the 0.5-mile Lost Pines Trail to look for critter clues, at the Isle du Bois Unit of Ray Roberts Lake State Park, on FM455, 10 miles east of I-35. "Critter Tracks" starts at 2 p.m. at the Lost Pines Amphitheater. $7 entrance fee for ages 13 and older. Call 940-686-2148.

Noon to 4 p.m. -- "Building Bridges," a free, all-ages event celebrating the arts, music, film and culture of the black community, at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, 400 E. Hickory St. Presented by the Denton Black Film Festival. With face painting, balloon art, free caricatures, dance workshops, a photo booth, giveaways, food trucks and other local vendors, and more.
