10 a.m. to 1 p.m. -- Touch a Truck, a fundraiser for the Explorium Denton children's museum, in the parking lot of C.H. Collins Athletics Complex, 1500 Long Road. Families can climb on, get in and explore dozens of vehicles. Event also includes food trucks and children's activities. From 9 and 10 a.m., engines, lights and sirens will be turned off so families with special-needs children can visit. Suggested donation of $2 per person. Visit

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- Boy Scouts of American Troop 65's Centennial Celebration at Troop 65 Scout Park and Evers Park, at the corner of FM2164 and Windsor Drive. Program and catered lunch ($10) start at 11:30 a.m. Event includes tours of Denton's last remaining Scout hut, music by the Isaac Hoskins Band, bounce houses, a climbing wall, military vehicles on display, Scout skill demonstrations and more.
