Corinth city manager receives lifetime achievement award

The Texas City Management Association has honored Corinth City Manager Bob Hart with its lifetime achievement award.

The award came during the association's annual conference in Austin in June. The award is given to a city manager who made significant contributions to local government for 20 years or more. 

Hart was appointed as Corinth's city manager in January. A 41-year veteran of city management, he previously served posts in Sundown, Sweetwater, Pampa, Georgetown and Kennendale.  

The association is a trade group that supports the council-management form of government and promotes the highest standards in governance, service, leadership, ethics, and education. For more information, visit tcma.org.
