Texas Tech University College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources named a student from Denton County as one of its student recruiters.
Hannah Dast, a sophomore from Krum, is among the 2017-2018 "Agri-Techsans," an award-winning group of student recruiters at the Lubbock university.
Agri-Techsans are full-time students studying in the agricultural science college. Candidates have to be nominated by a faculty member or active member of the Agr-Techsans and have at least a 3.0 grade-point average.
Dast will join her fellow Techsans in attending high school career days, job fairs, class presentations and club meetings in the region. Techsans give prospective students information about Texas Tech's admission requirements, financial aid and first-hand experiences as being part of the Red Raiders family.
