A county crew will spray overnight Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in far north Denton after a mosquito trap tested positive for West Nile virus.
In addition, county health officials announced that a Frisco resident was recently diagnosed with West Nile Fever, bringing the count of human cases to 10 for 2017.
The crews will spray north of Loop 288 along Stuart Road in an unincorporated area of the county between 9 p.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. A crew will also spray in Northlake after a trap tested positive there. Maps of the spray areas, along with more information about helping control mosquitoes that can be carrying the virus can be found on the county's website.
