State, county and city government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. The U.S. Postal Service and other federal offices will be closed Thursday only.
There will be no DCTA bus or train service Thursday. On-demand and access services will resume the regular schedule on Friday, but the A-train and buses will run a Saturday schedule on Friday.
Denton libraries close at 6 p.m. Wednesday. All libraries and recreation centers will be closed Thursday and Friday, except the North Lakes Recreation Center, which will be open 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Crews will not collect garbage, recycling or yard waste Thursday. Thursday's route will be collected Friday. The landfill will be closed Thursday and re-open Friday from 7 a.m. to noon.
