Volunteers needed for homeless count

The Denton County Homeless Coalition is seeking volunteers for its annual Point-in-Time count on Thursday, Jan. 25.

The federally required count aims to identify an area's homeless population and help communities understand homelessness. Results will be available later in the spring.

Volunteers are needed to help conduct surveys, host donation drives, enter data and more. Register at Desired donations include bus passes and $5 gas and grocery cards.
