Speaker to discuss access to learning for people with disabilities

The University of North Texas Discovery Series will feature a speaker who addresses educational access for people with disabilities. The series presentation is at noon on Thursday, Oct. 5 in Room G 150 at UNT Discovery Park, 3940 N. Elm St.

Mohamed Jemni will talk about accessibility to learning for people with disabilities. Jemni is a professor of computer science at the University of Tunis in Tunisia. He will discuss the basic concepts of electronic accessibility with a focus on access to internet content. His current accessibility research projects focus on giving the deaf community greater access through information and communications technologies and sign language, and e-learning spaces for people with visual disabilities.
