Denton band launches arts council music series

Denton band the Hope Trust will kick off the Greater Denton Arts Council's live music series from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Campus Theatre, 214 W. Hickory St.

The Hope Trust plays alternative rock, blending electronic and rock sounds. The band will play selections from their upcoming release, Passengers.

The Hope Trust will share the stage with Dallas singer-songwriter Salim Nourallah.

All proceeds will benefit the arts council, a local nonprofit agency that promotes visual and performing arts, maintains two downtown public galleries and offers educational programming for children and adults.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15.
