Sundown Collaborative Theatre will open its staging of Tracy Letts' drama BUG in November.

Letts is best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning play August: Osage County. BUG is about a pair of strangers who get sucked into a world of terror and paranoia. Agnes and Peter meet and quickly fall in love, but a sudden insect infestation tests their trust, affection and commitment.

Nolan Chapa makes his debut directing a full length play at the helm of BUG. Meg Hargis plays the role of Agnes, and Denson Jones plays the role of Peter.

Performances are 8 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, Nov. 3- 5  and Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10-11 at the PointBank Black Box Theatre, 318 E. Hickory St. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. Seating is general admission. Sunday performances are "industry nights," and those who bring a program from their most recent theatrical production they participated in can get a ticket for $8. For reservations, send an email to boxoffice@sundowntheatre.org.
