Denton Main Street Association ends the fall Twilight Tunes series on Sunday with a tropical sound.

Sure, it's fall in the Lone Star state, but the University of North Texas Steel Drum band will weave a summery, balmy sensation with its island and calypso music from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 on the downtown Denton Square, 110 W. Hickory St.

This year is the third season of the fall Twilight Tune series. The free concert on the lawn of the Denton County Courthouse on the Square is an off-shoot of the long running summer series of Twilight Tunes.

Attendees are welcome to bring blankets and chairs. Music fans can get a take-out dinner from the restaurants on and near the Square - or enjoy a post-concert drink.
