North Central Texas Chorale will perform Joseph M. Martin's Winter Rose Cantata at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 424 Main St. in Lindsay.

Winter Rose Cantata incorporates  new compositions into traditional carols. Martin's cantata looks at the timeless Christmas story with fresh insight, following the life of Christ, from prophecy to the passion.

The concert features guest artist Cynthia Shockley, a harpist with the Richardson Symphony, and Jason Paschall, oboe player with the Madera Wind Quintet, and Jaime Esposito on timpani. Soloists Courtney Kelley, soprano, and Dan Sieger, baritone, will perform during the cantata. The choir performs under the direction of Clint Kelley.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for students, senior and St. Peter parishioners. Tickets are sold at the door. Lindsay is located seven miles west of Gainesville on U.S. Highway 82.
