New inspiration to pick up litter

A North Texas nonprofit dedicated to keeping litter out of waterways added a new twist to its programs.

More than 27,000 people have taken Reverse Litter's "Ten on Tuesdays" pledge, vowing to pick up 10 pieces of trash each week. Now, Reverse Litter is offering short presentations to equip teams to pick up trash at schools, business parking lots, local landmarks and neighborhood streets. 

Reverse Litter is funded by the cities of Dallas, Denton and Fort Worth and by the Tarrant Regional Water District. For more information, go to
