5 p.m. — “Museology and the Post-Colony: The Case of India,” a talk by Saloni Mathur, a professor at the University of California Los Angeles and a specialist on colonial and post-colonial South Asian art, in Room 223 of the UNT Art Building, 1201 W. 7 p.m. — “Herbs and Native Plant Landscaping,” a talk by Gayle Southerland, part of the Trinity Forks Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas meeting at TWU’s Ann Stuart Science Complex, on Pioneer Circle. Refreshments are served in the foyer at 6:30 p.m., and the program will follow in the large auditorium/classroom on the second floor.

7:30 p.m. — UNT presents Picasso at the Lapin Agile, a play by Steve Martin, at the University Theatre in the Radio, TV, Film and Performing Arts Building, at Welch and Chestnut streets.
