10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — The Prazim Ministries Lighthouse opens at 210 S. Main St. in Aubrey. The ministry outreach sells items for suggested donations and features regular programs. Donations are being accepted, including purses, jewelry, silk flowers, greenery, decorative items and furniture in good condition. No clothing is accepted, except for wedding dresses and formal dresses. Call 940-594-6724.

11 a.m. to 7 p.m. — Raminator monster truck, driven by Hall Brothers Racing, will be at Classic of Denton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, 4984 S. I-35E. Fans can check out the truck and meet the driver. Free. Visit .

1:30 p.m. — Texas historical marker dedication for educator Annie Webb Blanton (1870-1945) at Blanton Elementary School, 9501 Stacee Lane in Argyle.

7 p.m. — “Fillies Follies,” presented by the Denton High School Fillies dance team, at the school auditorium, 1007 Fulton St. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, free for children 3 and younger. Advance tickets can be purchased at the main office. E-mail  or call 940-369-2000.

7 p.m. — First Friday Denton at art venues around the downtown Square, including A Creative Art Studio, 227 W. Oak St., Suite 101; Oxide Gallery, 211 N. Cedar St.; Denton Square Donuts, 208 W. 7 to 10:30 p.m. — Kids Rock! at Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St. Denton Parks and Recreation offers a night of supervised activities for children in grades 1-5. Cost is $9 per child. Call 940-349-7275.

7:30 p.m. — UNT presents Picasso at the Lapin Agile, a play by Steve Martin, at the University Theatre in the Radio, TV, Film and Performing Arts Building, at Welch and Chestnut streets.
