7:45 a.m. — “Marching for Health,” Denton Good Samaritan Village’s 5K fun run/walk, at 2500 Hinkle Drive. Parking is available at North Lakes Park and off Hinkle Drive. The event includes registration at 6:30 a.m., a competitive 5K at 7:45 a.m., a casual 5K run/walk at 8 a.m., and an awards ceremony at 10 a.m. Registration fee is $35 for adults, $25 for ages 13-21 and Good Samaritan residents and staff, and $10 for ages 12 and younger. 8 a.m. to noon — Argyle Lions Club’s breakfast with the Easter Bunny in the cafeteria at Argyle High School, 191 S. U.S. Highway 377. Cost is $5 per person or $15 per family for pancakes, bacon and orange juice, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Proceeds benefit the club’s community projects.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Aubrey Fire Department Auxiliary’s chili cook-off and bake sale at the festival grounds in downtown Aubrey. Free admission; tickets to sample chili cost $5. The event includes live music, a cake walk and a silent auction. Proceeds will support the operation of the auxiliary and Keep Aubrey Beautiful.

6:30 p.m. — “All That Jazz,” Denton Benefit League’s 2013 Charity Ball, at the Dallas-Fort Worth Marriott Hotel & Golf Club, 3300 Championship Parkway in Fort Worth. 7 to 11 p.m. — “A Knight Under the Stars,” a fundraiser presented by Knights of Columbus Council 14789, at Knights of Columbus Hall, 1700 Riney Road.
