Blotter: Father arrested after argument

Denton police arrested a man after an argument with his 19-year-old daughter shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports. Police said the father, 38, was having an argument over his daughter’s baby when the daughter said she was “head butted” by her father. The father is charged with assault causes bodily injury family violence, police said.

1200 block of Chattahoochie Drive — More than $11,000 worth of property was taken from a building Monday afternoon, according to sheriff’s officials. The complainant said someone took computers, game consoles and other various electronics. There was no forced entry, according to reports.

11000 block of Windjamer Drive — Sheriff’s deputies took a report from someone on theft of prescription medications at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports. Deputies said a woman complained that someone picked up her prescriptions at a local pharmacy without her consent. A theft report was made.

8200 block of Justin Road — Shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies responded to a church theft, according to reports. The reporting person, officials said, stated an unknown person stole $1,800 worth of music equipment from his church. There have been no arrests at this time, according to reports.

Double Oak firefighters responded to one structure fire. Double Oak police responded to four traffic calls.

Hickory Creek police responded to 28 traffic calls.

Justin firefighters responded to one unknown fire and one traffic transport. Justin police responded to one suspicious activity call, one animal complaint and assisted one agency.

Krum firefighters responded to one chemical fire, one medical call and two traffic transports. Krum police assisted one agency and responded to one chemical fire, one follow-up investigation, one medical call, one traffic transport and four traffic calls.

Krugerville police responded to one close patrol call, one road block and three traffic calls.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to three medical calls and one traffic transport.

Little Elm firefighters responded to one carbon monoxide or hazmat call, one fire department inspection, one illegal burn, one medical call and one vehicle unlock. Little Elm police responded to two assault reports, four burglary checks, one burglary report, one Child Protective Services referral, one criminal mischief report, two disturbance calls, one gun shots heard, one loose livestock call, one reckless driver, three suspicious activity calls, one theft report, 10 traffic calls, one traffic transport, one animal complaint and two welfare concerns.
