Blotter: Caller reports father, son get into fight

A caller reported on Saturday night that a father and son got into an argument and began throwing punches that resulted in both sustaining minor injuries, according to a police officer’s report.

The fight happened in the 1600 block of Glendora Court. After the officer arrived at the location, she began interviewing the father and son, but they told her conflicting stories about what led to the fight, according to the report.

The officer tried to obtain information about the men’s injuries, but they said they were unsure of how they got injured.

The father did not want to press charges against his son, but the officer told the son that he needed to leave the house and find somewhere else to stay for the night, according to the report.

2300 block of Bernard Street — A mother and daughter called police Saturday afternoon after they realized that someone had entered their vehicles during the night while they were asleep, according to a police report.

According to the police report, the unknown suspect or suspects entered the women’s unlocked vehicles, which were parked in their residential driveway.

Not much was taken, according to the report.

About $2 was taken from one vehicle and assorted personal papers were taken from the other.

The case is still open, according to the report.

500 block of Smith Street — A caller reported that he was assaulted by an unknown suspect on Saturday night, according to a police report.

The victim reported that he was cut several times by an unknown sharp cutting instrument, according to the report.

The case is still open and no arrests were made at the time the report was filed, according to the report.
