United Way to hold TRIBUTE in Fort Worth

Event to celebrate organization’s 2013 fundraising successes

United Way of Denton County is having its second annual United TRIBUTE on Jan. 18 at the Marriott Hotel at Champions Circle in Fort Worth.

The event celebrates the completion of the nonprofit organization’s 2013 fundraising successes with an evening featuring live music from The Vintage 15, food and its own version of the Dancing with the Stars competition.

Dancers in the competition include Cara Price, Staci Wallace, Judy Shortino, Donna Trammell, Jim Biggerstaff, Jamie Wilson, James King and Adam Reese, with alternates Melanie Vest and Ray David.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception and a silent auction.

The dinner, entertainment and dancing begins at 7 p.m. Officials encourage that attendees wear cocktail attire.

Reservations must be made by Jan. 10.

Individual seats can be reserved for $65 and a table for eight can be reserved for $800.

There are also three levels of sponsorships between $5,000 and $10,000 that can be purchased.
