Green was the order of the day at the University of North Texas Foundation’s Emerald Eagle Honors program, held Wednesday in Dallas. Three UNT alumni were honored at the event — Sports broadcaster and former Miss America Phyllis George, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Larry McMurtry and Academy Award-nominated actor Peter Weller. The event also honored students selected for the Emerald Eagle Scholars program. Here are some scenes from the evening.
