Blotter: Woman says she was held in vacant house

A 43-year-old woman told doctors and police Wednesday morning at Denton Regional Medical Center that she was held against her will at an abandoned house on Fort Worth Drive, according to a police report.

The woman told police she might have been drugged and did not remember what happened. Police are investigating.

1100 block of Stanley Street — Three televisions, a computer and a PlayStation 4 game system were reportedly stolen from a residence sometime Wednesday afternoon, according to a police report. The report said someone forced open the back door and entered the house while the residents were out.

600 block of South Mayhill Road — A 30-year-old man was arrested Wednesday afternoon at the Adult Probation Community Supervision and Corrections Building after he tried using a device with “the intent to falsify a drug test,” according to a police report.

After his probation officer confiscated the device and gave it to Denton police, the man admitted he wanted to avoid testing positive for marijuana, the report said. The man was taken to Denton City Jail.
