First Refuge Ministries announces seven new board members

First Refuge Ministries in Denton announced this week that seven people have been named to the organization's board of directors, according to a news release.

First Refuge Ministries is a 501c3 faith-based nonprofit serving the needs of low to moderate income people in Denton.

Those named to the board are Dana Bingham , a private investor; Suzanne Compton, a retired registered nurse; Elizabeth Crews, concierge with DATCU; Robert Dean, an accountant with First Baptist Church; Butch Hardy, a computer analyst; Brandon McCarroll, pastor of Highland Baptist Church in Denton; Don Richmond, an administrator with DATCU; Wilson Roberts, a Real Estate agent with ERA Cornerstone Realty LLC in Denton; and Ron Newsome, a retired University of North Texas professor.

They join current board members Yvette Dye, Amanda Giordano, Leigh Hilton, Brad Kearney III, Audrey Morrill, Shaun Perry, Len Yarbrough and Lt. Col. Bill White.
