Lee Gordon Harrington, 88, of Denton, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012. He was born on January 29, 1924 in Alco, LA to George Harrington and Ada Rae Harrington. He served in WWII as a staff sergeant in the United States Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton and he married Jackie Cooley in 1953.
A memorial service will be on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Lee is survived by his wife, Jackie; daughter, Kathy Harrington; and son, Kenneth Harrington. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Ray Harrington.
Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Douglas Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Douglas
born September 19, 1917 in Bedford, Indiana passed away peacefully on January 30, 2012 at her home in Denton. She is preceded in death by husband James Roger Douglas, father Elbert Railsback, mother Mabel Railsback, sister-in-law Florence Hortenstine, brother-in-law Issac Hortenstine, and grand- daughter Yvonne La Gard. Elizabeth is survived by brother David Railsback and wife Sue Railsback, daughters: Margaret La Gard and husband Gary La Gard, Sandra Sutton, Barbara Sooby and husband Douglas Sooby, grandchildren: Albert La Gard, Monica Thornton, James La Gard and wife
Patricia La Gard, Adam Thornton and wife April Thornton, nieces: Terry Murman and Pamela Peters, as well as several great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 12:30pm at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas TX.

Billy Lee Raulston who was a loyal and dedicated employee of Walmart for over ten years, succumbed Monday, January 30, 2012 after a brief illness.
He was born on August 31, 1929 in Lingleville, TX to Lee and Eloise Raulston, who have both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Martha Raulston; four sons and two sons-in-law, Roger Raulston of Fairview, VA, Allen Raulston of Cleburne, TX, Jay McDonald of Pearland, TX, Michael Raulston of Frisco, TX, John Malloy of Hickory Creek, TX and Kenneth Paddack of Aubrey, TX; three daughters and one daughter-in-law, Barbara Paddack of Aubrey, TX, Debbie Malloy of Hickory Creek, TX, Diane Raulston of New York City and Tammy McDonald of Pearland, TX; one sister, Virginia Hale of Stephenville, TX; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great- great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Timothy McDonald.
He was very proud of the work he did for the Public Works Department for the town of Hickory Creek and he was a faithful member of the Lake Dallas Church of Christ and any floral contributions would best be served by a donation to the church.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Lake Dallas Church of Christ, 502 Carlisle St., Lake Dallas, TX.

Dale Hughes Dale Hughes
Dale Hughes passed away on January 31, 2012 in the presence of his children, caregiver, pastor and hospice friends. He is now joyfully reunited with his wife and life companion of 62 + years, Norma Hughes, whom he lost only three months ago. Dale Hughes was a local pharmacist in the Denton community for over 50 years. He owned pharmacies in the former Gibsons located in Denton and in Lewisville for 20 years and finalized his career with Winn Dixie and Brookshires on Teasley Lane.
Dale served as a technical Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1947 serving in the Philippines and Korea during WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1947. Attending Texas A&M for only 6 months before joining the Army, he finished his education in Pharmacy at the University of Texas in 1952. Mr. Hughes was known by hundreds of his customers in the Denton area for his faithful and caring service to those he served. To his family, he was simply an incredible husband and father, always guiding and leading with his amazing wisdom and wit. Our family will miss him terribly, but we rejoice that he is with our Lord and side by side with Mom.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 5-7 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00 at the First Baptist Church of Denton in Cindy Nichols Chapel with Rev. Cliff Feeler officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Dale is survived by his daughters, Gail Hughes and Cheryl Sain; son, Michael Dale Hughes; sister, Ruby Lewis; and 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Ben, and Lauren Hughes, Tyler, Morgan, and Delaney Sain. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Faye Morgan Hughes; parents, Robert and Mamie; 4 sisters, Blanche French, Bernice Terry, Edith Kendrick, and Lela Davis; and 3 brothers, Lane Neal Hughes, Wayne J. Hughes, and Earldon Hughes.
