Mary Jane Simington, 91, of Denton, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Mary Jane was born September 11, 1920 in St. Louis, MO to Robert Vern Watton and Adele Schwarting Watton. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Francis Liston Simington.
Mary Jane and Liston lived in Pocahontas, AR for 50 years before moving to Denton, TX to be closer to family.
Mary Jane is survived by one daughter, Loretta Roche and husband, Richard of Dayton, NV.; three sons, Ronald Simington and wife, Diane of Denton, TX, Kenneth Simington and wife, Janice of Nashville, TN and Francis Simington and wife, Maureen of Corpus Christi, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Brian and Daniel Roche, Kenneth, Tony, Sarah, Lucas, Henry and Adam Simington; three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, AR. Burial will follow at the Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home.
