Funeral:á2:00 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Decatur. Visitation: One hour before the service at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Lorene was born May 30, 1919 in Decatur. She was preceded in death by husbands, Howard L. Reed in 1963, and Rev. L. A. (Gus) Whatley in 2004.
Survivors:áChildren, Richard Reed and wife, Teresa, Marsha Corrigan and husband, Tom; Helen Odom and husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Kasi Van Kleef and her husband Blake, Coby Cobb and his wife Jennifer, Eric Reed and his wife Heather, Shelly Robinson and her husband Matt,and Blake Odom; great-grandchildren, Logan Reed, Addison Cobb and Kayla and Keith Robinson.
