Stephen Lee Phillips, 56, of Sanger, Texas passed away on Friday, June 15,2012 at his home with his family surrounding him after a courageous battle with cancer.

Stephen was born on June 6, 1956 to Russell Nathan Phillips and Joyce Casper Phillips. On July 17, 1982 he married Barbara Dingeldein in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Stephen was a 1974 graduate of Union High School, Roosevelt, Utah, and a 1984 graduate of Utah Technical College in Cabinetmaking and Millwork. He was a Master Cabinetmaker.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of Sanger Texas, Sons, Suni Bob Crosby of Vernal Utah, Andrew Phillips of Denton Texas and Daughter Cassidy (Daniel) Edwards of Chickasha, Ok. Four Grandchildren, Dakota Wyatt Crosby and Kylie Monique Crosby of Vernal Utah , Arella Belle Edwards and Jubilee Quinn Edwards of Chickasha Ok. Brothers, Douglas (Janice) Phillips of Midvale Utah, Craig (Diane) Phillips of Roosevelt Utah, Sister, Dixie (Mitchiel) Hall of Roosevelt Utah. He is proceeded in death by

both parents and brothers William Phillips and Kenneth Phillips.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 at 10 am at Landmark Baptist Church in Sanger, Texas by Pastor Daniel Edwards. There will also be a memorial service held on June 28, 2012 in Roosevelt Utah at the Roosevelt Baptist Church by Pastors Stacy Hadlock and Daniel Edwards.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital (P.O. Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929).

Stephen loved his Children and Grandchildren there would be no better way to honor him than to help children win their battles for life.
