Radford Aaron (Man) Fuller, 82, the youngest of seven children, was born
to Elmer M. Fuller and Julia Mae Thomas Fuller on March 1, 1930 on a farm near
Aubrey, Texas. He passed away on June 27, 2012, peacefully, at his home
in Aubrey, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He attended both the
North Texas Demonstration School and Denton High School.
He
began working at Cole Parks’ dairy near the family home on Sherman Drive when
he was eight years of age and worked there until he was 18 years old. He
worked for Bell Roofing for a year and then began a forty year career with
Charles and Tom Davis of Davis Brothers Construction Company in Denton, Texas.
He was not just a carpenter, but a craftsman who wasn’t satisfied unless
he felt he had done his very best. Whenever Golfer Byron Nelson needed
carpenter work done on his farm, he always requested that Davis Brothers send
Radford to do it. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, and was the foreman
on the remodeling and addition to the First State Bank building which is now
Wells Fargo.
Radford
loved his family foremost , but enjoyed fishing, riding horses with family and
friends and farm life in general. He also enjoyed looking for Indian artifacts
on the family farm and for a period of time, when he was injured, he took up
oil painting to give pictures to his grandchildren. He accepted Jesus as his
Savior in 2009 and was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Aubrey,
Texas.
He
married Jackie Lee Balthrop (Cagle) on June 1, 1952. He was preceded in death
by his parents, brothers James Fuller, William Fuller, Glenn Fuller, sister
Dorothy Fuller Matthews and two infant sisters.
Radford
is survived by his wife of sixty years, Jackie, and four children, JuLee Fuller
Moore (Dennis), Brad Fuller (Amy), Jennifer Fuller Friday (Adam) and Justin
Fuller (Mysti),ten grandchildren Brandon Moore, Colin Moore (Katie), Brett
Fuller (Kristin), Lindsey Fuller, Zach Friday, Baylee Friday, Brooke Fuller,
Hunter Fuller, Violet Fuller and Ally Calloway, two great-grandsons, Damian
Nickell and Braxton Fuller and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers
will be Brad Fuller, Justin Fuller, Brett Fuller, Adam Friday, Zach Friday,
Dennis Moore, Brandon Moore and Colin Moore. Honorary Pallbearers are
Weldon Burgoon, Reuben Cagle, Danny Cagle, and Hunter Fuller.
Visitation
is Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Mulkey- Mason Funeral Home,
Denton, Texas. A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Harold Bowman
and Rev. Eddy Johnson on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Shiloh Cemetery,

The
family would like to thank Ann’s Haven, Johnnie and Barb and a special thank
you to Lisa Imm of Ann’s Haven and Georgia Ferguson, our wonderful neighbor,
for their very loving care of Radford for the last two months of his life.
