Zachary James
Dickey, 48, of Lake Dallas, Tx passed away June 29, 2012. Zach grew up in
Mesquite, Texas, graduating from Mesquite High School in 1982 in the top 10% of
his class. After graduation, he worked as a field engineer for Manhattan
Construction Group, Austin Commercial, and Charter Builders.
Zach
was extremely intelligent with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved
rockets, model airplanes and anything with a motor. He also loved cats,
the Dallas Cowboys, fireworks, hot sauce and music, especially Led Zeppelin,
and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Zach
will be remembered by his children James Harris Dickey II and Elise Marie
Dickey; wife Dorothea, sisters Michelle Bende and Dawn Davis; nephews and
nieces Kyle Bende, Blake Davis and Elyssa Bende, as well as numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Services
will be held Thursday, July 5th at 3pm at Lake Cities United Methodist Church,
300 E Hundley, Lake Dallas, Tx. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made
to the Betty Ford Five Star Kids Program.
