Catrina Georgina Adkins, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, whose heart was full of love and life, has been taken from us and has joined her “Gran”. She was 37, of Crossroads and died on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Las Colinas Medical Center in Dallas. She enjoyed life and will be missed by all who loved her. She was born December 3, 1974 in Denton to Raymond L. and Dianna M. (Boyd) Wood. She was a graduate of Denton Public Schools and attended TWU. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Argyle. She was married to Charles H. L. Adkins, Jr. on May 27, 1995 in Argyle. She was employed by Michael’s Corp. in Data Entry.

Mrs. Adkins is survived by her husband, Charles Adkins; daughters, Sabrina Nicol Adkins and Cora May Adkins; son, Rusty Adkins, all of Crossroads; parents, Raymond and Dianna Wood of Argyle; sister, Donna Jean (DJ) Dean of LaRue; and grandfather, Luther Wood, Jr. of Argyle.

A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Lifegate Church, 3350 Deerwood Parkway, Denton, with Randy Ganzer officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. for visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
