Billy Jack Hudgins, 83, of Denton passed awayWednesday, July 11, 2012 in Denton.He was born December 31, 1928 in Krum to Walter O. and Mary Elizabeth Rickrich Hudgins.He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Plainview Baptist Church.He retired from General Telephone as a Switching Technician.
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6 – 8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors.Funeral service will be Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm atGribble Springs Baptist Church in Sanger with Rev. Carl Lane officiating. Burial will follow atGribble Springs Cemetery.
He is survived by sons, William Keith Hudgins of Denton, Kenneth Wayne Hudgins of Krum; grandchild, Katie Hudgins of Denton.He is preceded in death by parents and granddaughter, Andrea Ortiz.
