Evelyn Cornelia Miller, age 92, of Little Elm, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was born October 7, 1919 in Meridian, Mississippi to Oscar and Abbie Cornelia Moseley Bingham. She married Lester Hugh Miller on November 19, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She moved to Copperas Cove in 1959, where she taught Sunday School and was the director of Vacation Bible School for many years at the Copperas Cove Fairview Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey. The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Killeen Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation Mausoleum, in Killeen, Texas. The Reverend Randy Binion will officiate.
Survivors include daughter, Susan A. Miller of Little Elm; sister-in-law, Blanche Bingham; and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, Lester; brothers, Leo, Ralph, Frank, Louis, and Nathan Bingham; sisters, Leona Bingham and Olivia Bingham Posey.
Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas.
