Mary L. Mayfield, age 84, of Aubrey, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 in Denton, Texas.She was born January 7, 1928 to Charles and Rubie Fleming Gower.She married Charles Mayfied June 22, 1944 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Antioch Baptist Church in Aubrey with Laura Hanson officiating.Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery.The family will receive friends at 10:00 am Monday morning at the church before the service.
Mary is survived be her husband, Charles of Aubrey; daughter, Paulette and husband E.P. Perez of Tom Bean; grandchildren, Gower Lester of Savoy, Dusty Herrin of Little Elm, Courtney Foster of Little Elm; great granddaughter, Kaycie Lester of Savoy.She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Latisha Herrin, and brother Sonny Gower.
Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center of Aubrey.
